1. By using different length of the wood that is used in the shelter, it creates the flow just like how the music begins and ends.

2. The use of wood and the wooden strips symbolises the traditional materials that is used in African architecture. The natural material wood, together with the surrounding vegetation, demonstrate the sustainability of the building and also communicate how the architecture bring grace to the environment.
